YM HOA would like to inform its residents of the passing of Mr. Ronald Overcash this past week.  Our condolences go out to the Overcash family.   Mr. Overcash was the head of Poplar Park LLC, which owns the unsold land and parcels in our community.

The YM HOA was in negotiations with Mr. Overcash to deed the property around the pool to the YM HOA.  However, due to his passing, we are on hold until his estate is sorted out to the point where someone is named to run Poplar Park LLC. We will proceed once we know who to work with.

Yates Meadow Home Owners Association announces the resignation of general board member and former president Bettye Garmon effective March 26, 2010.  Bettye has resigned for personal reasons. Bettye’s passionate service has been very instrumental in the maturity of the YM HOA.  We wish her well in her future endeavors.

Because of this resignation, the YM HOA Board has an open position for the spot of general board member. If you are interested in the position you can contact the president of the HOA, Brenda Smith, at ymhoaprez@yahoo.com , or  Laura Terbeck of Herman Management at laura@hermanmgmt.com .

Yates Meadow residents, please note that the opening day for the pool this summer will be Saturday, May 1st. Please refresh yourself with the pool rules (click this link for the rules – opens in a new window).

In order to get access to the pool, you will need your key fob. Every household was given one key fob in August 2008. Additional key fobs (or replacement key fobs) are available for purchase for $15 per key fob. Herman Mangement can take care of these key fob requests.

New Residents – New residents (since the initial key fob issuance) can get their key fob at no charge from Herman Management as well.

You will need to give them the name of the community (Yates Meadow), your name, and your address.  They will mail the key fob directly to the residence.
