YM HOA December 2008 Newsletter Attachments

Copies of the documents sent out with the December 2008 newsletter from the Yates Meadow HOA Board have been uploaded to the website:

1. Community suggestions (from Sept. 2008 meeting) that can be addressed and Community suggestions (from Sept. 2008 meeting) that cannot be changed have been placed on the HOA Community Meeting Minutes page.  Any responses from the HOA Board to issues brought up during community meetings will also be placed on the community meeting minutes page.

2. The revised HOA Dues Collection Policy was sent out to everyone and can now be found on the HOA Documents page.

3. Details on the Yates Meadow HOA Yard of the Month Program have been posted. Announcements of the chosen winners will be posted on the website and will also be listed on the Yard of the Month Winners page.

Board Response to HOA Member Letter – 8/10/08

Yates Meadow HOA Board

I am in receipt of your email to Kris Milstead at Herman Management and would like to try and answer any questions that you have.  It has never been our desire or intent to keep anything regarding the conduct of business at our board meetings secret.. In fact, we are responsible to make available to any member, information pertaining to the business of the association upon request.  However, in doing so, the Board of Directors is obligated by our By-Laws of Yates Meadow Homeowners Association, Inc., established in our Articles of Incorporation of Yates Meadow Homeowners Association, Inc. to operate in a manner that reflects that we are following our rules and requirements. It is a serious endeavor, similar to running a small business, and as a resident here myself, I would like to believe that any member of our Board would be taking their obligation and responsibilities seriously.

I understand that there are some homeowners that have never been involved or have never been members of a Homeowners Association before, so I would like to try and explain what a HOA is and what its requirements are.
